38-year-old Kevin Bowman (Galax, Virginia) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Sunday, February 16, 2020.

Shortly before 1:00 a.m. Mr. Bowman was a passenger traveling west on I-40 in Conway when his vehicle ran onto the westbound shoulder of the interstate. Mr. Bowman’s collided with the left rear of the trailer of a vehicle parked on the righthand shoulder of I-40.

23-year-old Anthony Jackson (Galax, Virginia) was injured in the accident and transported with injuries to Baptist Medical Center in Conway.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
