21-year-old Kentrez Davis Loses Life in Single-Vehicle Monticello Wreck

21-year-old Kentrez Tyree Davis (Warren, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 10.

Mr. Davis was driving north on State Highway 530 near Monticello in a 2018 Dodge Challenger. At approximately 10:22 p.m. Mr. Davis approached the intersection of Highway 530 and State Highway 35 when he failed to stop and ran across Highway 35. The vehicle struck a tree before overturning and striking several more trees.

20-year-old Keeton Layne Orrell (Monticello, AR) was a passenger and transported with injuries to Drew Memorial Hospital.

Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
