Sydney Owens Fatally Struck in Fort Smith
23-year-old Kameisha Smith (Wynne, AR), and an unidentified male minor (Wynne, AR), and 78-year-old Helen Collins (Wynne, AR) were fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, December 18, 2022.
Shortly before 6:00 p.m. Ms. Kameisha Smith was a passenger traveling south on Highway 1 (S Falls Boulevard) in Wynne. Ms. Collins was in the center turn lane facing north on Highway 1 when she attempted to turn left onto Barry Street. Ms. Collins vehicle (1996 Chevy 1500) pulled in front of Ms. Smith’s vehicle (2007 Pontiac G6) causing a collision.
The unidentified male minor was a passenger along with Ms. Kameisha Smith. Two additional minors were traveling in that same Pontiac vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision.
