25-year-old Juan Leon was fatally injured in a single vehicle accident on Friday, August 17. The accident occurred at approximately 10:50 p.m.
Mr. Leon was headed north on State Highway 53 in Arkadelphia when his vehicle (2000 Chevrolet) crossed the centerline and left the roadway, striking a tree. Mr. Leon was transported to CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs where he was pronounced dead.
Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
