Fatal Wreck Occurs After Vehicle Lands in Eight Mile Creek

60-year-old Joy Lynn Klingensmith (Paragould, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred at approximately 8:31 a.m. on Tuesday, November 27 in Greene County.

Ms. Klingensmith was driving a 2008 GMC east on Pruetts Chapel Road near Fairway Lane when she crossed the centerline and struck a guardrail just west of Eight Mile Creek Bridge. Ms. Klingensmith’s vehicle overturned and came to rest in Eight Mile Creek.

Weather conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and road conditions were dry.
