Deadly Head-on Collision in Velvet Ridge, Arkansas

25-year-old Orbin Rene Rodriguez Lopez (North Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Tuesday, May 28, 2019.

At approximately 8:22 a.m. Mr. Lopez was driving south on Highway 167 in Velvet Ridge when his vehicle (2008 Pontiac Solstice) crossed the centerline near Pine Creek Road. Mr. Lopez’s vehicle struck a northbound 2011 Isuzu head-on.

27-year-old Jonathan Warren (Conway, AR) was driving the northbound vehicle that Mr. Lopez struck.

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry.
