4 Lives Lost in US 65 Head-On Collision in Arkansas

44-year-old Jessica G. West (Saint Joe, AR), 69-year-old Dennis L. Tippen (Jonesboro, LA), 63-year-old Julie K. Tippen (Jonesboro, LA), and an unidentified minor were all fatally injured in an accident on Monday, November 10, 2025.

At approximately 2:37 p.m. on Monday, Ms. Jessica West was driving south on US 65 in Searcy County. Mr. Dennis Tippen was driving north on US 65 when his vehicle (2018 Chevy Silverado) veered into the southbound lane of traffic and collided head-on with Ms. West’s vehicle (2025 Jeep Gladiator).

Both drivers, Ms. Jessica West and Mr. Dennis Tippen, sustained fatal injuries in the collision. Additionally, Ms. Julie Tippen, a passenger in the Chevy vehicle, and an unidentified minor passenger in the Jeep vehicle sustained fatal injuries.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
