Rainy Conditions Lead to Fatal Car Accident in Ashley County

71-year-old James Randall Rial (Hamburg, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, January 15, 2022.

At approximately 9:00 a.m. Mr. Rial was traveling west on US Highway 82 West when his vehicle (2003 Toyota) lost control on wet roads. Mr. Rial’s vehicle left the roadway to left before striking an embankment and coming to a final stop in the southside ditch of Highway 82.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
