81-year-old James Fridell (Bearden, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Monday, June 10, 2024.
At approximately 6:10 p.m. Mr. Fridell was traveling north on U.S. 79 in Ouachita County when his vehicle swerved into the southbound lane of traffic for unknown reasons. Mr. Fridell’s vehicle (2021 Ford F150) collided with a southbound vehicle (2015 Honda Accord). Mr. Fridell sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
Passenger, 81-year-old Mary Fridell (Bearden, AR), sustained injuries in the collision. Also, the driver of the southbound vehicle, 51-year-old Anity Anthony (Camden, AR), was injured in the accident.
Those injured were transported to Ouachita County Medical Center and UAMS in Little Rock.
