Passenger Loses Life After Being Thrown From Motorcycle

43-year-old Jade Leigh Douglas (Oxford, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Thursday, September 6.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., Ms. Douglas was the passenger on a custom built motorcycle driven by 65-year-old Nicholas Douglas (Oxford, AR). They were traveling west on State Highway 354 in Oxford when they failed to negotiate a right-hand curve and left the roadway. Both Mr. Douglas and Ms. Douglas were thrown from the motorcycle.

Conditions at the time were reportedly cloudy and dry.
