Jacksonville Resident Loses Life During Wednesday Morning Rush Hour Wreck

46-year-old motorcyclist Kevin Gross lost his life in a fatal three-vehicle accident during Wednesday morning commuting hours. The accident occurred on U.S. Highway 67/167 near mile marker 9 in the southbound lanes at the on-ramp near Redmond Road in Jacksonville.

According to Arkansas State Police, Mr. Gross’s motorcycle was struck by a semi-truck at approximately 7:30 a.m. Mr. Gross was thrown from the motorcycle and landed underneath the semi-truck. The motorcycle then collided with a nearby Nissan Versa.

Travel conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
