Icy Roads in Missouri Claim the Life of Arkansan Danny C. McEntire

34-year-old Danny C. McEntire, of Hardy, Arkansas, was pronounced dead at the scene of a one-car accident Monday evening at approximately 7:40 p.m.

Dan McEntire, 58, was driving a 2003 Ford F-250 on U.S. Highway 63, roughly 5 miles west of West Plains, Missouri. Missouri State Highway Patrol indicate that Mr. McEntire’s vehicle lost control on the ice-covered highway, careened off the right side of the road, overturned and struck a tree.

Mr. McEntire was transported to Ozark Medical Center, via ambulance.
