I-55 Truck Accident Proves Fatal on Friday

21-year-old Detrez Marion (Holly Springs, Mississippi) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, May 19, 2023.

At approximately 5:15 a.m. Mr. Marion was traveling north on I-55 near Creamery Package when his large truck (2014 International) collided with the rear of another northbound truck (2015 Freightliner). Mr. Marion was transported with injury to SMC Hospital in Osceola where he later succumbed to his injuries.
