59-year-old David Hood (Sulfur Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, June 14, 2023.

At approximately 4:20 p.m. Mr. David Hood was traveling south on on Highway (Heber Springs Road) when a northbound vehicle (2003 Ford Ranger) failed to maintain control and crossed the centerline. The Ford vehicle collided with Mr. Hood’s vehicle (2009 GMC Sierra) in the southbound lane of traffic.

Mr. Hood sustained fatal injuries in the crash. 19-year-old Trace Dunavin also sustained injuries in the collision and was transported to White River Medical Center.
