Huntsville High School Teen Fatally Injured in Wreck

An unidentified Huntsville High School teenager was fatally injured in a wreck that took place on Wednesday, December 18, 2019.

Shortly before 4:30 p.m., the teenager was a passenger in a vehicle (2004 Dodge Neon) traveling west on Highway 45 in Goshen. Two additional teenagers were in the vehicle at the time of the incident. Their vehicle attempted to make a left-hand turn into a private drive but was struck after “failing to yield” by an eastbound vehicle (2015 Chevrolet Silverado). Both vehicles spun into the ditch following the collision.

The accident took place just west of Highway 303.

Both additional teenagers were transported with injuries. 24-year-old Whitley Coatney (Muldrow, OK) was also transported with injuries following the wreck.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
