Driver Flees After Passenger Falls From Vehicle Near Hot Springs

26-year-old Hunter Andrew Hornada (Hot Springs, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, October 15, 2023.

At approximately 2:20 a.m. Mr. Hunter Hornada was a passenger in the cargo or truck bed of a southbound vehicle on Park Avenue (State Highway 5) in Fountain Lake. According to the police report, Mr. Hornada “fell from [the vehicle] onto the highway.” The driver of the vehicle fled the scene and has not yet been identified.

The incident took place in the 9900 block of Park Avenue (State Highway 5) near Hot Springs Village. Mr. Hornada sustained fatal injuries.
