Head-on Collision Near Wynne Proves Fatal
An unidentified male minor was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
At approximately 10:24 p.m. a vehicle (2007 Hyundai) turning south onto Highway 7 just south of Dover was struck by a northbound 18-wheeler (2015 Freightliner). According to the report, “when [the 18-wheeler] realized [the Hyundai vehicle was pulling onto Highway 7] it veered to the left in an attempt to avoid [the Hyundai vehicle] but was unable to.” The 18-wheeler struck the left front of the vehicle in the center turn lane.
32-year-old Thomas Justice (Dardanelle, AR) and 28-year-old Kacey King (Dardanelle, AR) sustained injuries in the collision.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
