Heavy Rain Leads to Fatal Wreck for FedEx Driver

21-year-old Daniel Garcia, Jr. (Centerton, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Friday, June 9, 2023.

At approximately 3:29 p.m. Mr. Garcia, Jr. was traveling east on Peterson Road near Brigance Road in Gentry when his FedEx truck lost control on wet roads. The 2008 FedEx truck left the roadway before traveling down an embankment and rolling on its side.

Weather conditions were heavy rain and road conditions were wet at the time of the accident.
