Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
77-year-old Gary W. Pettit (Atkins, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, August 19, 2021.
At approximately 2:13 p.m. Mr. Pettit was traveling north on State Highway 105 in Pope County when his vehicle (2009 GMC) left the roadway before traveling down an embankment and striking a tree.
