Kansas Couple Dead After Vehicle Crashes into Mobile Home

70-year-old Diane Dugger (Hutchinson, Kansas) and 72-year-old Fred Dugger (Hutchinson, Kansas) were fatally injured in an accident that took place on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.

Shortly after 4:15 p.m. the married couple was traveling west on U.S. Highway 62 approximately 5 miles east of Harrison in a 1977 GMC motorhome vehicle when they were struck and forced off the road.

51-year-old Trevor McGehee (Mountain Home, AR) was traveling east on Highway 62 in a 2017 Chevrolet Cruze when his vehicle was hit by an eastbound 2003 Saturn vehicle. The impact forced Mr. McGehee’s vehicle into westbound traffic where it struck Mr. and Mrs. Dugger’s vehicle.

After leaving the roadway, Mr. and Mrs. Dugger’s motorhome crashed into a mobile home where it caught fire.

Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly clear and dry.
