Sydney Owens Fatally Struck in Fort Smith
27-year-old Elijah Lansford (Perryville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
At approximately 12:42 p.m., Mr. Lansford was the passenger in a vehicle (2018 Chevy Cruze) traveling west on State Highway 5 in Saline County near Lonsdale. An eastbound vehicle (Ford F350) crossed the centerline striking Mr. Lansford’s vehicle. Elijah Lansford’s vehicle then left the roadway before colliding with a tree. Mr. Lansford sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
Additionally, 69-year-old Steven Lansford (Orange, CA) and 21-year-old Amarion Williams (Mabelvale, AR) sustained injuries in the accident. Those injured were transported to Saline Memorial Hospital.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
