33-year-old Drew Grant (Jackson, Missouri) and 59-year-old Daniel Petty (Essex, Missouri) were both fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday, July 27, 2019.
Shortly after 9:00 p.m. Mr. Petty was driving south on Highway 167 south of Cave City when his vehicle crossed the center line, turn lane, and both lanes of northbound traffic. 59-year-old Kathy Tanner (Newport, AR) was a passenger in the vehicle.
Mr. Grant was driving north on Highway 167 south of Cave City. 29-year-old Stephanie Grant (Jackson, MO) and an unidentified female minor were both passengers in the vehicle.
Mr. Petty’s vehicle (2013 Chevrolet Tahoe) struck Mr. Grant’s vehicle (2017 Honda CRV) head-on.
Those injured in the accident were transported to UAMS and to White River Medical Center.
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
