Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
51-year-old Douglas Gordon Green (Jacksonville, Florida) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Monday, March 9, 2020.
At approximately 7:30 p.m. Mr. Green was traveling east on U.S. Highway 412 just east of Huntsville when his vehicle (2019 Volvo) ran off the roadway while negotiating a curve. Mr. Green’s vehicle struck a sign and overturned.
Weather conditions were reportedly cloudy and road conditions dry at the time of the accident.
