Marked Tree Car Wreck Proves Fatal on Sunday

21-year-old Demarcus Antonio Williams (Gilmore, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, September 22, 2024.

At approximately 7:00 a.m. Mr. Williams was traveling west on State Highway 140 when his vehicle (2017 Chevy Camaro) crossed the centerline before leaving the roadway. Mr. Williams’ vehicle struck an embankment and utility pole before overturning.

Mr. Williams sustained fatal injuries in the collision.

25-year-old Angelica Santos (Lepanto, AR) and 22-year-old Kobe Gage Maddox (Marked Tree, AR) were passengers in the vehicle and sustained injuries in the crash.

Those injured were transported to Regional One Medical Center.
