Highway 5 Head-on Collision Claims the Life of Daniel Roset

19-year-old Daniel Roset (Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Friday morning, January 18, 2019.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. Mr. Roset was traveling south on Highway 5. 42-year-old Wesley Vaught (Austin, AR) was traveling north on Highway 5 near Sagebrush Lane when Mr. Roset’s vehicle (2000 Acura) crossed the centerline and struck Mr. Vaught’s vehicle (2018 Dodge 5500) head-on.

Mr. Vaught was transported to Unity Health (Searcy) with injuries. Conditions at the time were reportedly cloudy and dry.
