20-year-old Briana Howard (Lepanto, AR) and 19-year-old Misty Wilbanks (Jonesboro, AR) were fatally injured in an accident that took place in Marked Tree, Arkansas on Friday, December 28.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. Ms. Howard was traveling north on Elm Street (Highway 308) in Marked Tree. Ms. Wilbanks and 43-year-old Terry Wofford (Marked Tree) were passengers in the vehicle (2013 Chevrolet Impala). The vehicle ran off the road and struck a tree on the right-hand side of Elm Street before overturning.
Conditions at the time were reportedly clear and dry.
