Hit-And-Run Leads to Arkansas Cyclist’s Death

52-year-old cyclist, Brett J. McCullough, was fatally injured Wednesday evening, May 23. The accident happened shortly after 8:45 p.m.

Mr. McCullough was traveling east in the outside lane of U.S. 70 West (Airport Road) in Pearcy, Arkansas, when he was struck in the rear by an unknown vehicle.

The unknown vehicle “fled the scene after impact.” The Garland County Coroner pronounced Mr. McCullough dead at 9:38 p.m. A spokesman for the police said no description of the vehicle is available, but an investigation is underway.
