Fatal Collision on US 79 Near Pine Bluff, AR
64-year-old Bobby D. Weaver (Shirley, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Monday, January 18, 2021.
At approximately 5:12 a.m. Mr. Weaver was attempting to cross The New Road in Shirley near his residence when he was struck by a westbound vehicle (2001 Saturn). The vehicle was coming over a hill near Banner Loop Road and “did not see the pedestrian.”
Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
