Wrong Way Vehicle on I-40 Leads to Fatal Wreck
47-year-old April D. Bauman (Batesville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Saturday, December 28, 2019.
At approximately 12:42 p.m. Ms. Bauman was driving east on Pfeiffer Road in Batesville when her vehicle (2007 Dodge Caliber) lost control while navigating a curve. Ms. Bauman’s vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
