Illinois Passenger Fatally Injured in Rainy Arkansas Car Wreck

30-year-old Angela S. Richardson (Salem, Illinois) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, January 8, 2022.

At approximately 10:50 a.m. Ms. Richardson was a passenger in a vehicle (2006 Honda Civic) traveling south on Highway 167 near Evening Shade. Ms. Richardson’s vehicle lost control on wet roads while navigating a curve and left the roadway before striking several trees and overturning.

32-year-old Paul K. Scott, Jr. (Thayer, Missouri) sustained injuries in the accident and was transported with injuries to White River Medical Center.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
