Alfred Langhorn Loses Life in Rainy Highway 79 Wreck

62-year-old Alfred L. Langhorn (Little Rock, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Sunday, January 26, 2020.

At approximately 9:00 p.m. Mr. Langhorn was a passenger in a vehicle traveling north on Highway 79 when his vehicle left the roadway just north of Hammans Road. Mr. Langhorn’s vehicle (2002 Ford) overturned and collided with a tree before coming to a final rest.

56-year-old Karen D. Griggs (Stuttgart, AR) and 35-year-old Larenzo Hernandez (Stuttgart, AR) were in the vehicle at the time of the accident and transported with injuries to UAMS.

Weather conditions were rainy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
