Head-On Collision in Springdale Proves Fatal

32-year-old Alberto Flores (Springdale, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

Shortly after 7:00 p.m. Mr. Flores was traveling east on West Don Tyson Parkway in Springdale when his vehicle crossed the centerline near Tara Street. Mr. Flores’ vehicle (2001 Honda Accord) collided head-on with a westbound vehicle (2019 Nissan Pathfinder). Road conditions were wet at the time of the accident and weather conditions were rainy.

76-year-old Joyce Marie Venable (Springdale, AR) was driving the westbound vehicle and sustained injuries in the collision. Ms. Venable was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville.
