Rollover Accident Claims the Life of Rector Resident, Alberto Escandon-Martinez

57-year-old Alberto Escandon-Martinez of Rector, Arkansas was fatally injured in a single-vehicle accident in Clay County on Saturday night, May 5. Shortly before 10:00 p.m. Mr. Escandon-Martinez was traveling north on Highway 119 south of Rector when he failed to navigate a curve. The 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt struck an embankment and rolled before coming to a rest. A second unidentified minor was a passenger in the vehicle and was transported to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
