I-55 Collision Proves Fatal in Arkansas

55-year-old Tanya Marie Mitchell (Paris, AR) and 40-year-old Jeanetta Rose Kubes (Crockett, AR) were fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, March 20, 2024.

At approximately 1:20 p.m. Ms. Jeanetta Kubes was driving north on I-55 when her vehicle (2022 Toyota) struck the rear of an 18-wheeler (2016 Freightliner) parked on the shoulder of I-55 near mile marker 39.

Ms. Kubes sustained fatal injuries in the accident. Passenger, Tanya Mitchell, also sustained fatal injuries in the collision. The 18-wheeler was unoccupied at the time of the accident.
