25-year-old Alyssa Anderson (Rison, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
At approximately 11:45 a.m. Ms. Anderson was driving west on State Highway 114 approaching the intersection with State Highway 530 near Star City. Ms. Anderson’s vehicle (2003 Toyota) failed to yield at the intersection forcing a collision with a vehicle (2000 Ford) traveling south on State Highway 530.
71-year-old Aulton Mitchell (Star City, AR) and 72-year-old Patsy Mitchell (Star City, AR) were traveling in the southbound Ford vehicle when Ms. Anderson’s vehicle pulled in front of theirs.
Conditions at the time of the accident were reportedly cloudy and dry.
