Highway 67 Wreck in Jacksonville, AR Proves Fatal

71-year-old James Banks (Jacksonville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, September 29, 2024.

At approximately 5:00 a.m. Mr. Banks was traveling north on Highway 67 in Jacksonville when the front of his vehicle (2016 Chevrolet) made contact with the rear of another northbound vehicle (2006 Toyota). Mr. Banks’ vehicle came to a final rest on the shoulder. The Toyota vehicle rolled before coming to a final rest.

44-year-old Regino Ramirez (Searcy, AR) was driving the Toyota and sustained injuries in the collision. Mr. Ramirez was transported to Baptist Health Spring Hill Medical Center.
