Pedestrian Fatally Struck in Hope Collision

36-year-old Faheem Shehzad (Carteret, New Jersey) was fatally injured in an accident on Sunday, February 19, 2023.

Shortly after 2:00 a.m. Mr. Shehzad was reported to have “walked out into the roadway” of the I-30 exit ramp in Hope, Arkansas. Mr. Shehzad was struck by an eastbound vehicle (2003 Honda Accord).

59-year-old Sharon Reed (Hope, AR) sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to Wadley Regional Medical Center in Texarkana.
