I-30 Wreck in Texarkana Claims Hope Resident's Life

45-year-old Martha Palomares-Zavala (Hope, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Tuesday, June 21, 2022.

At approximately 10:10 p.m. Ms. Palomares-Zavala was traveling east on I-30 in Texarkana when her vehicle (2006 Chevy Tahoe) left the roadway to the right near mile marker 6 and struck a tree.

36-year-old Luis Hernandez-Cruz (Hope, AR) sustained injuries in the accident and was transported with injuries to Christus St. Michael’s Hospital in Texarkana.
