Wet Roads in Jonesboro Lead to Deadly Crash on Woodsprings

60-year-old Michael Lyndon Statler, Sr. (Jonesboro, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, September 23, 2020.

At approximately 9:16 p.m. Mr. Statler was traveling east on Woodsprings Road when his vehicle (2016 Ford Mustang) lost control on wet roads near Twin Oaks Avenue and left the roadway before striking a tree.

Weather conditions were cloudy and rainy, and road conditions were wet.
