Wrong-Way Vehicle at 2 A.M. on I-530 Leads to Fatal Wreck

46-year-old Tracy Henson (Russellville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that occurred on Saturday, June 20, 2020.

Shortly after 2:00 a.m. Ms. Henson was traveling south in the northbound lanes of traffic on Interstate 530 near Little Rock. Ms. Henson’s vehicle (2012 Hyundai Accent) collided head-on with a northbound vehicle (2000 Mercedes-Benz) near mile marker 5 on I-530.

24-year-old Jessica Smith (El Dorado, AR) and 27-year-old Lasmine Sowers (El Dorado, AR) were in the vehicle traveling north and transported with injuries to UAMS following the accident.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
