Fayetteville Pedestrian Fatally Struck on Wedington Drive

61-year-old Cheryl Rae Anderson (Fayetteville, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

At approximately 6:12 p.m. Ms. Anderson was attempting to cross Wedington Drive near NW End Avenue from south to north when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle (2019 Dodge) near the center of the road before being struck by a westbound vehicle (2017 Jeep) in the westbound lane of traffic.

Ms. Anderson was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center before succumbing to her injuries.

Conditions were reportedly clear and dry.
