Carolyn Pumphrey Fatally Injured in Highway 141 Car Wreck

41-year-old Carolyn Pumphrey (Jonesboro, AR) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Friday, May 10, 2019.

At approximately 3:00 p.m. Ms. Pumphrey was traveling north on State Highway 141 when her vehicle (2003 Volkswagen Bug) left the roadway and struck a tree.

There was an unidentified minor passenger in the vehicle. She was transported to St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Conditions were reportedly cloudy and dry at the time of the accident.
