Wet Roads Results in Motorcyclist's Death in Hot Springs Wreck

69-year-old Charles Lee Wright (Grove, OK) was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident in Hot Springs on Friday, September 7. 69-year-old passenger Sharon Kay Wright (Grove, OK) was also injured in the accident.

Mr. and Mrs. Wright were traveling east on E. Grand Avenue near the Frontage Road and Festival Street in Hot Springs. Mr. Wright lost control of his 2009 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on the wet roadway and collided with several trees causing the motorcycle to flip.

Mr. Wright suffered fatal injuries. Mrs. Wright was transported to CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs with injuries.

Conditions at the time were reportedly raining and wet.
