Staff Spotlight: Lissbeth Rivera-Obregon

Lissbeth Rivera-Obregon has been with the firm since April 8, 2025, and serves as our primary Spanish-speaking case manager. In her role, she believes that clear communication, attention to detail, organization, and time management are essential to successfully handling multiple cases at once.

One of Lissbeth’s favorite places to visit is Florida, a destination that holds a lot of meaning for her. It’s where she experienced many “firsts,” including her first plane ride, boat ride, and train ride, as well as her first time visiting Disney World and seeing the ocean.

A piece of advice that has stayed with her over the years is that “great things don’t happen in tiny increments, they happen when someone thinks completely differently.”

Outside of work, Lissbeth loves to bake, and her current favorite recipe is Biscoff cheesecake. She’s also hoping to travel more and read more books in her spare time in the coming year. When it comes to food, sushi is at the top of her list—especially a roll with shrimp tempura topped with avocado and salmon.

Something that might surprise people about Lissbeth is that she enjoys challenging her fears. Even though she’s terrified of heights and can’t swim, she still loves amusement parks and lake days.

What Lissbeth enjoys most about working at Taylor King Law is the teamwork. She appreciates that everyone is willing to help and support one another, and that there is always guidance when it’s needed. She describes her experience at the firm in three words: structured, adaptive, and refreshing.
