Staff Spotlight: DJ McSwain

This month’s spotlight is DJ McSwain, a Records Clerk at Taylor King Law since September 2022. DJ’s role extends beyond managing records; she also handles the Medicare claim process for our clients.

When she’s not immersed in her work, DJ finds solace in the great outdoors. Whether it’s hiking the Buffalo River and the Ozark Mountains or exploring Zion National Park, nature is where she feels most alive.  DJ recently conquered Angels Landing in Utah with a group of friends and two babies, that’s 1,800 feet of elevation gain!

DJ’s life is enriched by her loved ones, dad jokes and puns, and an appreciation for good food. She is also a devoted partner to her high school sweetheart and a proud parent to a baby girl. In her downtime, you’ll find her indulging in her favorite TV shows—she’s watched Grey’s Anatomy 11 times, Vampire Diaries 8 times, and One Tree Hill 7 times!

Her organizational skills are impeccable; she tackles her tasks with a prioritized system, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. DJ feels most productive before lunch and turns it into a game, testing how much she can complete before noon. When she returns to work, the rest of the day seems to speed by.
