72-year-old Antonio Freitas (Cabot, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
At approximately 2:29 p.m. Mr. Freitas was traveling west on Highway 89/W Main Street in Cabot when a 2015 Subaru Forester “failed to yield making a left turn” and struck Mr. Freitas’ vehicle (2012 Chevy Cruze). Upon exiting his vehicle, Mr. Freitas’ vehicle was struck from behind by another westbound vehicle (2016 Kia Sorento), which then struck Mr. Freitas. Mr. Antonio Freitas sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
Additionally, 73-year-old Theodora Millerline (Cabot, AR) sustained injuries in the accident. Those injured were transported to UAMS in Little Rock.
Conditions were reportedly cloudy and dry.
