Kim McConnell has been serving as an investigator in Northwest Arkansas with Taylor King Law since the start of 2018. She and her husband, Jerry Lee, have twelve children and nine grandchildren. Kim said she’s happiest when her family gathers for after-church lunch on Sundays: “Family, food, fun and lots of hugs.”
Outside of work, Kim enjoys fishing, hunting, and reading, but her favorite activity is held each Thursday: “Each week I, my husband, and more than twenty volunteers host Covenant Recovery at Covenant Church in Poteau. We welcome about 100 members, providing them a safe place to gather and share what God has done for them and a hot meal.”
One thing you couldn’t live without? My husband, for sure. He has been my constant through thick and thin.”
Favorite place to travel? Beauford, South Carolina, and Hunting Island State Park are by far the best-kept secret in the continental U.S.
Only one meal for the rest of your life? Sushi or gumbo
Favorite way to spend a Saturday? Tootling! Driving to unknown locations without reason or intent until discovering antiques to hunt, local diners and other side attractions.
If you could learn to do anything? Flying jets, the faster the better!
If you won the lottery? Establish a non-profit transitional housing unit for men and women who are leaving a bad situation or habit behind and need temporary housing in order to get back on their feet, establish their sobriety, and achieve sustainable independent living.
Favorite way to spend $20? Braum’s Ice Cream
What’s your favorite thing about working at Taylor King Law? The friendly and family atmosphere, the people I get to work with, and the daily opportunities to meet new people throughout the territory I cover. I love meeting people and listening to their stories.
