Head-on Collision Near Wynne Proves Fatal
33-year-old Reyes Melendez-Haros (Espanola, NM) was fatally injured in an accident that took place on Wednesday, April 22, 2020.
At approximately 9:20 a.m. Mr. Melendez-Haros was traveling south on State Highway 43 South between Compton and Ponca when his 18-wheeler (1993 Kenworth semi-truck) left the roadway before striking several trees and overturning.
Weather conditions were cloudy and road conditions wet at the time of the accident.
