Fort Smith Intersection Wreck Proves Fatal on Saturday
30-year-old Bailey M. Daniel (Sheridan, AR) was fatally injured in an accident on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. Ms. Daniel was traveling north on Highway 35 near the sawmill south of Benton when her vehicle (2011 Nissan Rogue) crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a southbound vehicle (2017 GMC Yukon). Ms. Daniel sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
60-year-old Sharon K. Pledger (Sheridan, Arkansas) was traveling in the southbound GMC vehicle and sustained injuries in the crash. Ms. Pledger was transported to UAMS in Little Rock.
